Liverpool II took to the floor for their debut game at home

Liverpool II made their debut in MABL Division 1 last night against Mavericks III. Liverpool being a new and young team started off slow finishing Q1 only up by 3 with short glimpses of what they had to offer.

With Tony Walsh back at the helm at senior level it didn't take long for Liverpool to find another gear and kick on in the second quarter, with some impressive shooting from Dario Salviato saw them go into the half up 6.

The third quarter saw the team come into their own with some strong inside presence, and impressive fastbreak play led by Liam Burgess saw the team take a comfortable 27 point lead going into the final quarter.

A controlled 4th quarter against a tired Mavericks team, saw Liverpool continue to play some impressive team basketball with the final score being 93-47.

The men will now look to travel away to the Northwest A Mabbs next Friday night for their first away fixture.
